- Subscribe to Good Magazine; you'll be glad you did.
- Eat slices of honeycrisp apple with very thin slices of goat's milk gouda; you'll be glad you did.
- Let your kid (or a kid, or hey just do it yourself, it's pleasing) pour baking soda and vinegar down your kitchen drain and bathroom drains; your drains will run faster, smell better and the two of you will enjoy it. You'll be glad you did.

Starting Out...
This year, my resolution was to let go of my sometimes bitter and oppressed mindset. My plan is to be fully satisfied with my life, without caveat or worry about my special needs child, or money or any other thing. Well, to quote I forget who, "It ain't easy, but you'll be glad you did." This blog is a start in that direction, a reminder of how many great things I get to experience. I often thought I wanted to start a cookbook called You'll Be Glad You Did, and some of the recipes that would appear there will appear here, along with many other things you'll be glad you did. Sometimes my entries will be short (with absolutely no recipes) and sometimes they will be long. For now, I have three things for you:
Labels:
apples,
cookbook,
Good Magazine,
gouda,
kids natural,
upbeat
